NAINSOOK
A light cotton cloth, plain weave, in widths 30-in. to 22-in. Bleached and soft finished. A common quality is 108 ends and 96 picks per inch, 40's warp, 46's weft. It is used for underwear, dresses, shirts, etc., in the East. Sometimes it has cord stripes. The cloth is an imitation of a native-made Indian heavy muslin. ————————
